Calm. Organized. Here for you.
I’m Ally, the owner and lead coordinator behind Jovial Planning & Coordination.
I’m a former special education teacher, a wife, a mom of two, and someone who genuinely enjoys bringing order to a lot of moving pieces. My background in education taught me how to communicate clearly, anticipate different needs, stay flexible, and remain calm when things do not go exactly as planned. Those skills now play a huge role in the way I coordinate weddings.
Jovial began four years ago with a simple belief: couples deserve to enjoy the wedding they spent months planning, not spend the day answering questions, watching the clock, and managing everyone around them. I wanted to create a coordination experience that allowed couples and their families to be fully present while someone capable and trusted handled everything happening behind the scenes.
Since then, Jovial has grown into an established, highly rated wedding coordination business with a fantastic reputation among couples and local wedding professionals. Over the past four years, I’ve coordinated weddings at venues throughout St. Louis, St. Charles, and the surrounding areas, working alongside countless vendors and helping couples navigate celebrations of all different sizes and styles. I’m incredibly proud of the trust Jovial has earned and the kind words couples continue to share after their weddings.
I notice the small details, ask the questions people forget to ask, and think several steps ahead. Before the wedding, I work with couples to understand their priorities, organize the logistics, develop a detailed timeline, and make sure everyone involved knows the plan. On the wedding day, I’m the person watching the timeline, checking in with vendors, answering questions, managing transitions, and solving problems before they ever reach the couple.
My approach is organized, direct, and supportive, with enough flexibility to handle real life as it happens. I won’t try to take over the wedding you planned or change the things that matter to you. My job is to protect your vision, keep everything moving, and give you the space to experience your day without being pulled in every direction.
Jovial is truly a passion-driven business. I absolutely love what I do, and I feel incredibly lucky that my work allows me to be part of such meaningful days. Every wedding is different, but my goal is always the same: to help the couple feel prepared, supported, and free to enjoy the celebration they worked so hard to create.
Outside of weddings, I’m usually with my husband and our two little ones, working on one of my businesses, or planning something that probably did not need to become a full production, but did.

Do I really need a Coordinator?
Day-of coordination is valuable because it allows you to enjoy the wedding you worked so hard to plan without spending the day answering questions, managing vendors, watching the clock, or solving last-minute problems. A coordinator keeps the timeline moving, makes sure everyone knows what is happening next, handles unexpected issues behind the scenes, and serves as the main point of contact for your vendor team. Instead of assigning those responsibilities to a family member or friend, you can let the people closest to you be fully present and celebrate with you.
What Is Day-of Wedding Coordination?
Day-of wedding coordination is for couples who have planned their wedding but want a professional to take over the final details and manage the event itself.
A day-of wedding coordinator steps in before the wedding to review your plans, create or finalize the timeline, communicate with vendors, coordinate the rehearsal, and make sure everyone knows where to be and when. On the wedding day, your coordinator manages the schedule, answers vendor questions, cues important moments, handles unexpected issues, and keeps the day moving smoothly.
For couples in St. Louis, St. Charles, and surrounding Missouri areas, day-of coordination provides peace of mind without the cost or involvement of full-service wedding planning.
