One Small Thing That Makes Your Wedding Morning Smoother

Wedding mornings can get busy quickly, so one of my favorite simple tips is to gather your detail items before the wedding day.

This could include your rings, jewelry, invitation suite, perfume, vow books, shoes, veil, heirlooms, or anything else you’d like your photographer to capture.

As a wedding coordinator, I’m not there to style your detail photos — your photographer is the expert on that. But I am there to help the morning run smoothly, and having everything in one place keeps people from digging through bags or interrupting hair and makeup to find the rings.

A small box or bag with your wedding details can make a big difference. Your photographer can get started right away, your timeline stays on track, and you don’t have to answer “where are the earrings?” while you’re trying to enjoy the morning.

It’s a simple step, but it’s one of those little things that helps your wedding day feel more organized from the very beginning.

At Jovial Planning and Coordination, we help couples think through these small but important details so their wedding day can feel calm, organized, and enjoyable — from the getting-ready moments to the final send-off.

That feels much more “you as a coordinator” and still works well with the photo.
